Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl said: “We are delighted to have reached agreements with Leverkusen and Hoffenheim. And that Jonathan and Tom are now part of our squad. They will further strengthen our options at the Club World Cup. We are very excited for this new competition in the United States. Where we want to play our part.”
Bayern Munich will travel to Orlando tomorrow where they will be based during the Club World Cup.
The opening match is on June 14 with Bayern Munich kicking off their group stage against New Zealand’s Auckland City in Cincinnati the following day. The Bavarians then face Argentina’s Boca Juniors in Miami on June 19 and Portugal’s Benfica in Charlotte on June 24.
