West Ham have delayed a decision on Mikhail Antonio future as the striker recovers from a serious car crash in December.

    Antonio’s Ferrari skidded off the road and hit a tree in Epping Forest six months ago. Breaking his leg and requiring three weeks in hospital.

    West Ham have released a statement saying the Jamaica international will be placed on an unconditional transfer list in line with Premier League procedures.

    The club also said that supporting Antonio throughout his recovery was “the most important thing”.

    Antonio joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee, reportedly worth £7m, in 2015.

    He is the club’s top Premier League scorer, having scored 68 goals in 268 top-flight appearances.

    Meanwhile, 30-year-old French international defender Kurt Zouma, who joined the club four years ago. And is on loan at Saudi Arabian side Al-Orobah FC will leave West Ham at the end of this month.

    Last month, West Ham announced that defenders Aaron Cresswell and Vladimir Schufal. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and striker Danny Ings would be released when their contracts expire this summer.
